| Construction method: |
The internal frame is made by using entirely 4 inch by 4 inch pine wood which is subsequently covered with two layers of bi-axial fiberglass mats of 300 grs/m2 and one layer of 450 grs/m2 respectively (Product 332.50 Det Norske Veritas certificate No: K-3016). The wood sections are connected together with SS 316L screws. The joining corners are reinforced with wooden stiffeners of same material and size (i.e. 4 inch) which are also covered with the same number of layers and thickness of fiberglass mats.
All panels are made of marine grade plywood (Product 331.30 Det Norske Veritas certificate No: K-3083). The plywood panels are coated appropriately to withstand the conditions above and below water |
